2nd time was a charm
Our second stay at the location and it was great. We got to use the pool and we absolutely love the continental breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is not clean. As simple as it is. Yes, it is undergoing renovation, but the rooms are filthy. The carpets, the bathrooms. Unbelievable.

Rooms were dirty, old and have zero tolerance and rules for noisy guests pass 10pm. The room next to us was having a party and were so loud around 2am. Called the front desk and complained. Hence, an hour after the party was still on and was louder. This hotel definitely a no go. Safe your money and find some place else.

Disrepair was evident
The facility was in disrepair in the common areas. And no workout facilities were available. The disrepair, with carpets worn all the way through, should never have been allowed.

It was a good stay. Just wish they had a ramp to pull your suitcases up on instead of just stairs. Once you get to the first floor no problem as you have the elevators but to get to the elevator you have 2 sets of stairs to climb

We had stayed at the Laquinta in Morgantown, West Virginia the night before and it was extremely nice! So because of that experience, we reserved a night at the Laquinta in Stamford, NY without checking it out. My mistake!! When we arrived, there was a required $100 deposit in which we hadnt budgeted for, that wasnt required at the previous hotel, and we were told that it would take 8-10 days for it to be refunded. The overall condition of the hotel was very rundown with holes and large worn spots in the carpeting, our room was revolting with the dirty walls and floors, but mostly with the pubic hairs in the bathtub! The only good thing was the bed had clean sheets and was somewhat comfortable to sleep on.
