As soon as you arrive staff tries to talk you into a time share scam. And even if you agree to attend the meeting you can't use the perks except for on certain days. The free shuttle only runs 4 days a week. The buy one get free boat trip only goes on wednesdays. So basically worthless if you leave on a tuesday. The landscaping was gorgeous but ruined by trash EVERYWHERE. Pools and buildings were nice but we had to step over a used glucose monitor every time we left our room. Its a shame to be on such a beautiful island and its trashed. Paper straws are worthless if you continue to use plastic cups

i Called last week spoke to someone told them before we left to go on the vacation that the beach was shut down and I wanted 4 days for free so they called the hotel and the hotel lied to you guys or you lied to me we had to pay 120 dollars to taxi us to a near beach each way crazy expensive we spent over 1600 in taxi rides to just go to the beach I would like a refund the smell of the beach we stayed at was nasty smelt. Like dead fish I would like someone to look into this you shouldn’t sell people trips if you don’t know if the beach is usable I want answers!

The beach access for this property was full of sargassum seaweed and the smell around the whole pool , beach and restaurant area was that of rotten tuna / dead fish it was unbearable, we would only come to to sleep and try to be out of the property as much as possible as you couldn’t enjoy any live music , very little entertainment they had we passed because the smell was horrible

The restaurant wasn’t very good and they kept messing up our orders. You cannot use the beach due to the excessive amounts of seaweed along the shore. The rooms are very musty smelling, and we had to change rooms. Smoking is allowed throughout the property as well, so if you don’t like smoking this is not the resort for you. We lived there hilltop bar and pool. The views were wonderful. There is a lot of walking but luckily there are shuttles and taxi’s available.

The check in and check out process was not great. It took hours to get checked in and over an hour to get checked out. The resort relies heavily on golf carts to get around, so you may be waiting for a bit. The property was nice overall, but the beach was COVERED in red tide seaweed. I would not recommend going in the water. Many of the appliances in the room were broken, our faucet had to be repaired at one point and there is only housekeeping after 7 days. Without cleaning supplies, our room was a mess on day 7. We had a nice trip, but it was definitely not luxury.

I loved that the property never felt crowded and it was super accommodating for larger families! I wish we would have known better about the fact that the rooms are located in spots that require lots of walking and steps unless you take the shuttle.

The property was nice, but the smell was horrible. There’s no beach access and the lower part of the property smells so strongly of sewer it’s disgusting. There should be some type of vending machine accessible 24 hours since everything closes early.

We were treated very well from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Concierge staff were helpful and friendly. Golf cart drivers were all pleasant and helpful. The condo was very nice. The restaurant was convenient and had good food. We definitely recommend Margaritaville St. Thomas. We'll be back as soon as we can.

The sea grass on the beach was out of control. Smell was unbearable at times. If possible ask for a room up top. Rooms were clean. A/C didn’t work so well but kept the room at a comfortable temp. Resort and restaurant staff need some lessons in manors. Ground besides the beach were well maintained daily.

The property itself is a great property. Upkeep is pretty good. The restaurant leave’s a lot to be desired, if you’re staying up on the hill and you’re pretty healthy, it’s not that hard to go up and down the stairs could be a little tiring. Otherwise, you have to wait long periods of time for the Golf Cart to pick you up. Erick was amazing and very friendly every time he picked us up on the golf cart. the worst part of our trip was the seaweed accumulated on the beach and the smell was horrific, due to this we didn’t spend much time at the hotel.

The beach has too much seaweed we weren’t able to access the beach and it stunk like septic water. Which made us NOT want to eat at the restaurant. The cafe staff were rude, and espresso machine was broke all 5 days of our stay. To get to and from your room you need to wait for a golf cart shuttle to take you otherwise be prepared for a sweaty hike. Golf cart shuttles would take anywhere between 15-45 minutes to pick you up. The BEST golf cart driver was Erick. 5 stars to him for being the MOST friendliest staff on the property. I can go on and on about all the things this resort can improve on.
