Cockroaches in the room

The room is conveniently equipped with refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave. Overall, the place is old and requires upgrade. There were cockroaches in our room. After being reported, the room service came and sprayed the room, but it was not comfortable to sleep in the room knowing that they are there.

I arrived at 10pm to check in (traveling alone) I was told someone had already checked into my room. I had to wait in lobby so the receptionist could figured it out. He was very kind.I was finally was put in another room. Just late and I wanted to go to bed.

Absolutely horrible experience. First room we were given had a broken door lock. Second room smelled like smoke. Third room had five roaches running on the floor as soon as we opened the door. Had to leave and book another hotel last minute. Do not recommend.

It looks like the room had some renovations done. The beds were nice and the tile in the bathroom had been updated. The shower tile was update. However, the room smelled bad. The carpet was old and so was the curtains. I feel like the room was over priced. I am not the only person that feels that way. Other people were complaining about the room prices when we were checking in. It was midnight when we arrived and we had to wake up at 4am to be at the airport to catch our flight so I wasn’t interested in complaining. I won’t stay there again or recommend it. Definitely not worth the price we paid!

We had to wipe the room down because it looked like the house keeper did not do a thorough job. For instance the shower curtain with was filthy complement with, breakfast was alp a joke. Staff was polite and helpful,

This property is independently owned according to the sign behind the desk. It is not real new and our room had some “patch repairs”. Was the area safe was my first question upon checking in. It was, we didn’t have any issues. Due to the availability of room when we were in town we were just thankful to get a room.

It was affordable, clean, and convenient. The walls were patched but not repainted in our room. We went down for breakfast at 8:30am on Saturday and the only food there was cuties and packages of small muffins. Also, the front door is NOT handicap accessible.
