Check in desk agents were great. The hotel is amazing. So glad we stayed there. On the last night, my wife was getting in the shower when she noticed there were no bath towels. I told her to go ahead with her shower and I would go to the lobby and get the towels. The gal at the desk said she would send some to the room. My wife was almost finished and still no towels, so I called. Towels will be sent. They never were. My wife used a hand towel. My son and his wife didn't get their towels either. If its the hotels policy to not furnish towels the night before checkout, so they don't get stolen, they had best rethink it.

We loved staying here. The historical atmosphere. The location. The food and staff were great. Housekeeping horrible. Forgot to give us towels. Left our room open. Plumbing leaked.

Room was incredibly dirty: including dirt in the sheets, hair in the shower, and all furniture and surfaces were covered in dust. Broken items in the room: like the curtain rod and the top lock. Items left from someone else. And the aquarium was supposed to be open until 8 but it closed at 5 today. It was disappointment. It didnt feel like our room was ready for guests and definitely not what we paid for. The hotel has a lot to do in the area and in union station alone, but I hope this isnt a common experience. It is a beautiful first impression with the lobby and the room itself is nice.
