Bring Your Own Hairdryer

Overall the hotel was nice. The room was comfortable. Front desk service was a little lacking. I needed to use the hairdryer in the room. Plugged it in…did not work. Went to front desk (had to wait almost 10 mins for someone to come out of the back) asked for a replacement. Got it and went back to my room. It did not work. Had to leave for my 7am meeting. Came back that afternoon and went down to get a replacement hairdryer. Took almost 20 mins to get a replacement. Plugged it in and it did not work. Took third hairdryer back to front desk. Someone from housekeeping was a front desk. Rep asked her to go and find me a hairdryer that worked. When she came back almost 20 mins later. Housekeeper handed me the hairdryer. I said thank you and she just turned and walked away. I guess I inconvenienced her. Front desk and overall customer service could have been a little nicer. Probably wouldn’t stay here again when I go back for business.

Not what the pictures show, property grounds not very clean- garbage all over in parking lot, property has fence all the way around it but anyone can come in and out of the property. Our suite had broken shelf, bathroom door didn’t close all the way, smelled like stale cigarette smoke. You have to pay $30 for parking- shouldn’t have to if I already paid $350 for a room. Check in staff is rude. Dining/breakfast area was not very clean, most of the tables were dirty. Coffee containers were all empty, when told staff they- the lady just walked away. Felt like we were an inconvenience for being there.

We had a pleasant stay!! Breakfast was really good and staff was very kind and professional. The ONLY grievance, we found 2 Cockroaches in our room during our stay. One in the bathroom and one in kitchen, both alive. When we returned home all luggage had to be spray and left outside our home, which is very stressful.

All in all very nice stay minus my tub being very clogged but they fixed it quickly breakfast was great lots of options The pool was nice although i was disappointed the jacuzzi was down.

We've stayed in a number of Residence Inns and had lovely experiences. The Downtown St Louis Residence Inn was a great disappointment. They need to do better.

The room smelled and looked clean and fresh. The property is kind of in down-town Saint Louis, but it was fenced in so felt fairly safe. The breakfast was excellent. Overall a great stay.

1,2,3 strikes you're out!

Three rooms in one night. First room we were given it appeared that someone was in the room, the beds were not made and there was food and drinks around the room so my kids and I quickly left that room. Second room the door on the furnace wasn't secure but there was an attempt to put a screw next to it to secure it and didn't lock as well as the thermostat was hanging off the wall. After the maintenance worker spent 30 min in the room with my kids and I in the room and he wasn't able to repair all the items that were broken I had to basically argue with the front desk to get a different room. Third room was decent although there was trash under the pull out bed that was damaged and had to be used as a couch instead of a bed. From the time of arrival to the time of getting the third room was over an hour. Nothing was ordered for the inconvenience.

I stayed in the two bedroom suite for my daughter’s party and we had a good time. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. There was just a couple things that I didn’t like about the hotel and that was the fact that they wanted you to pay for parking which is $18 a night. We went with this hotel because of the pool and the hot tub but when my kids got down there, they said that the water looked kind of dirty and that the hot tub was out of order. I also didn’t care for the location of the hotel. There was nothing in walking distance. It was it’s right off of Jefferson, which is a very busy street and is not the nicest area. The the Internet for the hotel was very slow and poor was unable to watch the smart TV and was unable to connect my PS4 and then I called down to the front desk and the front desk agent said that there was nothing that she could do about it.

The property is well maintened and clean. I enjoyed their complimentary breakfast. They should make people aware that parking at the hotel even for guests is not free of charge and cost around 21$ per night.

The staff is superb! Really kind and really helpful. The room smelled of smoke, the windows where unlocked on the 8th floor probably due to the previous smokers and the tub and sink needs plumbing. The water rose really quickly and took rather long to go down completely.
