Don’t stay here

Upon arrival the building smelled of pot coming down the hall way. Cigarette butts on the ground out front of the lobby and in the snow. the door to the bathroom was blocked so it could not open all the way by the shower rod that was bowed out. there were fire hot cheetos on the ground and on the desk from the first before us. The front desk called our room asking us too keep it down because we were keeping up our neighbors. We were not making any noise but one neighbor had his TV up so loud and the other had their music up just as loud. We let the front desk know it wasn’t us. the music and TV did turn down blur around 1 am went back up. our TV had no instructions and we had to figure out on our own that we had to punch in the channel numbers in a particular pattern in order to change the channel. If your tempo was off in the slightest we had to start over again. We chose to go to bed.

The staff were great and the room was as advertised. Although a non smoking room, there was a cigarette smell inside which I let the hotel staff know about it and the smell dissipated after some time. This is an economical hotel and a good value for what it is

Find another place to stay

Stayed 1 night on a long road trip. Booked a non smoking room, was given a smoking upon check in. The whole hotel smells very strongly of chemicals and air fresheners, probably in an attempt to cover the cigarette smell. There is no elevator and most rooms are on the 2nd floor. There were no towels in my room. Another guest’s dog was barking at 2am. In the morning I went to use the coffee maker and there were no cups. Seems like this place is run by a skeleton crew and doesn’t have actual housekeepers, and it shows. Hotel breakfast was a joke, there was only gravy and a few potatoes left at 7:45. And two vending machines. Finally got some coffee but they didn’t even have lids! I was so eager to get out of this place I made a run for it with my coffee sloshing all the way through the parking lot. There are no signs for this hotel from the road, only a very small banner on the building. Road to the hotel needed to be plowed. Very old building, absolute bare bones.

The first room that they gave me had a weird smell so I asked for another room and they gave me one. The new room was fine. Some of the towels had stains on them. All in all it was not a bad stay.

Before booking my reservation here, I read the reviews & most reviews were decent & ratings were about 6/10 so I booked it. I regret it the moment I got there. Outside was sketchy already. As soon as we got into the room, I opened the bathroom & it smell so bad, as it was the smell of death. I couldn’t stand the smell at all. Then I checked the bed & there were stains on the blankets & sheets. Called front desk & he brought me another one. The pillows & all sheets also have a funky smell. Similar to blankets & sheets from the hospitals/hospice. The whole night I couldn’t sleep due to the smell & noises. The wall is not soundproof at all. The couple next to us were arguing so loud in the middle of the night. There were noises from the people above us. All you can hear was kids running and stomping so loud all the way until almost 2 am. Just when we were about to fall asleep, someone played music so loud. Couldn’t even sleep at all. You get what you pay for but this is not what I would pay for.
