This property was really nice except for one thing. The breakfasts were really good, but what freaked us out was the way they had the utensils staged. The handles were placed down in the holders, so everyone fumbled around touching the end of the utensils you put in your mouth. I told the manager and two other employees about my concern. Another guess was freaked out too and we both took our utensils back to our rooms and washed them before use. Ya never know where peoples hands have been and I sure don't want them touching the part of my spoon or fork i put in my mouth.

Great Stay!!!
This was an extremely nice little place! The staff were all extremely friendly and everything was clean and they had good breakfast and they were close to historic downtown Saint Charles! They also offered cookies and hot cocoa and coffee in the lobby!

Fun quick trip to collect reward points. Favorite parts of the stay were the indoor pool (swimming while Christmas music was playing and it was raining outside was quite entertaining) and Udi's bagels in the morning (first time I've seen any hotel with any gluten free bread options). All in all, a great stay.
