Ok stay with my 2 kids

My main attraction to this site was the game room and heated pool. Half of the games didn't work and the pool was dirty. Very warm though. Not a single kids channel available on the tv. (Disney, nick jr, ect) the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful.

Property is being refurbished which we were not aware of until we got there. We brought our teenage grandchildren who were looking forward to swimming. The pool was filthy so that didn’t happen. Breakfast was amazing! All the staff were wonderful and helpful.

Staff was wonderful, breakfast was GREAT. Parking garage was okay, the stairwells were not my favorite. Our room was super clean, could see where we parked in the garage from our window. Pool was heated, felt great in the indoor pool and the outdoor pool section was warm also. The dry sauna was difficult to figure out how to work, but we figured it out pretty quick. Was able to get food door dashed right up to the room, and that was great. All in all, when coming back to St Louis- I’ll definitely be staying with Clayton Plaza again!

Would not recommend

This hotel stated it was under construction. I saw no evidence of that. The front desk people were not very helpful. It was a less than a desirable setting. I would say they should close this hotel until they get it cleaned up. Windows all over were filthy. AC did not work. Breakfast was served with your room charge. It was less than a satisfactory stay. I felt like it was in the last stages of closing.

This is an older building but well kept and clean. We enjoyed our overnight stay! Also nice parking is one time $6 charge which is much cheaper than other places.
