Went for my birthday weekend and enjoyed every amenity! There is quite no other hotel Ive been to where it had something to enjoy for anytime of the day. Whether it was the good press cafe in the morning, a midday swim, a good cocktail from idol wolf, or a lookaloo around the free art museum on the 2nd floor or even a good exercise. The room was phenomenal with a great view of downtown stl!

First checked in for my birthday weekend and they didn’t have my room ready until 8:30 PM when check in was at 4. They put us in a temporary room which was a room for one person when we had 4 and which had not been cleaned and other items of other peoples stuff were in there. Only stayed for one night and it ruined the whole reason of a doing a girls night in stl. The front desk was very honest so I appreciated that but she thought I was someone that she checked in and had an attitude at the beginning and I had to let her know that she needed to look up my account before assuming who I was. This was for my birthday and I thought this was going to be the best night but the staff and hotel just made it such a horrible experience for me. I actually started crying with the way they did everything. Just super disappointed because with the right staff and training this hotel could easily be 5 star hotel. I do want to put in here though that the valet parking crew was incredibly nice though and seem to really care.

perfect for couples

We stayed at 21C for an overnight getaway. The check in was seamless- the staff was very friendly. Our room was beautiful and clean (was missing body wash but it was quickly rectified). The robes were luxurious, a really nice touch. We enjoyed all of the amenities at the hotel; the pool, hot tub and sauna (all clean and enjoyable), the "nightcap at the museum" and the art museum as well. We had a reservation at the restaurant (best burger in town!) and went back to the bar for dessert and drinks later in the evening (I wish dessert was better). In the morning we went to the coffee shop for breakfast (so delicious!). Everything we needed was right there. The only negatives were; the pillows were not comfortable, the cups in the room for coffee were disposable and not mugs (I prefer mugs and that's what's shown on the website) and I wish parking wasn't so expensive. Overall, a really wonderful experience- we will definitely stay at the 21C again.
