The tub was covered in hair, there were items left in the fridge from otger people and they did not clean the room during our stay. When i told the front desk they didn't even give me compensation for these conditions. I will never stay here again. I reported that they didn't make up the room while we were out and they said the staff wrote that they did our room but did not at all. The mirror in the bathroom made a buzzing noise and you could hear people running above us. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

That saturday night we were woken by a fire alarm at 4:30am and 6:30am There was 0 communication from staff on what to do or what was happening. Then for them.to say they couldnt get someone in with keys and didnt havd keys to.go.to moxis where the alarm was triggered from was very unorganized. Thankfully the next.morning I was refunded for lne night.

The first night was good. The second night was absolutely horrible, first we had new neighbours above us that didnt respect others and were very loud, then at 4am fire alarms went off and we all had to exit the building until about 445am. Just got back to sleep and alarms went off again at 610am forcing everyone out of the building again, at this point my children nor myself were comfortable and we checked out at 7am when allowed back to our room. Also the pool has way too mych chemicals and burned the eyes out of all of us.

Hotel was easy to find. Parking was easy. Staff is okay. We did not receive the VIP credit until I have to ask for it (15 dining credit. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The terrible: We booked this for the pool and hot tub. Pool was over chlorinated. Upon entering, our eyes stung. My kid could not stop coughing. We had to exit the pool area, there were no towels there as well and it was smaller than i expected. The smallest in all of the Sandman hotels I have been to. We also asked for a kettle and they basically shrugged as off and told us to use the coffee machine for the hot water. I have been to a LOT of Sandman Hotels (I have Diamond RSVP status) and this has never been a problem. During our stay, the fire alarm went off not once but TWICE at 4:45 AM and 6AM. No reassurance, no mention of the cause. We asked for a late check out which they thankfully granted.

The two on site restaurants are both excellent, the room was spacious and clean, and the lobby was as welcoming.
