This property desperately needs a renovation. The rooms are outdated and dirty. The walls seem to be paper thin and do not buffer noise at all. There were people outside our room arguing late night. Also, we checked in late and sketchy individuals were hanging around the entrance and at the back of the property.

The room and furnishings were shabby for the price of the stay. The bathroom was dirty. When I turned on the water for the bath tub, it smelled of raw sewage. The rest of the bathroom was unacceptable. The breakfast area, basic food offering, and utensils are terrible. Even for a cheap hotel, this was pretty bad.

Worse hotel ever in my entire life.
This hotel is the worse place I have ever stayed. The hotel was very old. It was very noisy at the hotel, it was packed and there were men outside in the evening without any shirts. I think this hotel houses homeless people. Not saying there is anything wrong with this but it should be disclosed to potential occupants. The room next to me had over 8 people in the room with the door open and a cooler of alcohol in their entryway in the evening. Motorcycles roared into the place at 1245 pm waking me up. The mattress was not a mattress, it was so soft it could have been folded in half. The towels were for very small people. The bathroom was disgusting. I wear my sandals while showering. Absolutely disgusting hotel. It should not be called a hotel it is an old motel. Would not recommend to anyone. When I asked for an adjustment of my charges, it was declined.

Good deal
The Red Lion is a great deal. Love the sport and fitness amenities like pickleball, put-put course and indoor/outdoor pool. Rooms in St George were expensive and this motel was a bargain at $150 compared to the averages of $200+ around the convention center.

Definitely a good property. No elevator to the second level but very quiet and restaurants super close. Pickle ball, basketball and mini golf available. Indoor outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast available but not the best. Staff so friendly. Property clean, lots of parking and rooms show small amount of age but extremely clean. Refrigerator in the room. Would book again.

Inconvenient for those with some disabilities
We were given a room which would have been fine but the clerk watched as I unloaded the car of suitcases and rolled the cart to the lobby. then I realized there was no way to access the room from there since it was in antother building. The clerk should have suggested that I park in front of the room and unload the 4- 5 feet from the car to the door of the room. Their solution wAs to offer us a 1 bed room far down the hall that the cart could be rolled to. As a result my husband who had walking issues had farther to walk and also stair to navigate to go to the restaurant or car It turned into a disaster. Probably won't go back

Dated, but great facilities. This is a very family/group friendly hotel with awesome activity amenities (mini golf, pool tables, outdoor/indoor pool). Can’t beat the value!
