we are a bunch of young girls who wanted to stop here on our way through to LA and the staff made us so uncomfortable that we actually left and continued to drive the rest of the way because we didnt feel safe.

The shower was disgusting. It looked like mold all along one side of the shower. We were told that breakfast was at 7:30. This consisted of a piece of toast and a hard boiled egg. There was only a table for four people. They were unable to give me a receipt when checking out or even tell me how much we owed. They said we would receive an email from Expedia. I made the reservation in the car traveling down the highway and looked up Howard Johnson and did not go through Expedia. To date I have received nothing from anyone!

Old, outdated and damaged.

Old, outdated, uncomfortable. Towels were gray instead of white. Bathroom door was broken and towel rack was falling off the wall. Trim was chewed and damaged throughout the room. Carpets were stained. Walls were filthy and dented/scuffed. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable and had stained coverlets. We didn't even attempt the breakfast due to the condition of our room. This motel needs some updates. The review won't allow me to upload photos to show the condition of the room, but it's not great.

We had to wait over 30 minutes before anyone showed up check us in, there was a van with people sleeping inside it in the parking lot, although the room was clean, the building was obviously old and in need of repair.

House keeping comes every other day. Understand why, however when I asked them to changes my sheets. The gentleman told me they didn’t look dirty. I told them again, he said they didn’t look dirty. How the hell would he know what was going on in the room. If they are going to clean every other day. Then they should clean, vacuum, bathrooms, actual clean the room. Not just take the trash out. I can do that myself. Do better!!
