We had cold weather so didn’t use the pool or the beach but it looked like a great beach spot. Would go back just to stay for the beach. Nicely maintained. Restaurant was excellent —we did 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. Very friendly, quick, good food. Live music—we missed it first night (stops at 8:00) but jazz guitar the next night was enjoyable. We liked the Guy Harvey Resort. Very affordable. Historic St.Augustine was the draw that took us there but it’s soooo crowded. Hard to find parking. We should have taken the city bus/trolly. We did the Nights Lights tour. Was nice but was hoping for more narration, was just music and lovely lights. Next day we went to the lighthouse. Walked to the top and the museum buildings. Enjoyed that. Guy Harvey Resort was great. Comfortable and friendly staff. I even bought a t-shirt. Lots of Guy Harvey art throughout and nice merchandise in the lobby. All was more affordable than most tourist beach spots. Highly recommend.

My new favorite vacation spot

I read all the negative reviews and was worried the place would be old, run-down and, dirty but it was none of those. We had a great beach front room. We loved the location and truly enjoyed our stay. We are looking forward to coming back again next year!

Very nice stay

Loved the complimentary laundry! Ate at the restaurant there and was very good. Beach so close and had view of the ocean from our balcony. Everything was nice, cannot complain about anything!

Great stay bed is noisy

The stay was good. Would recommend Guy Harvey to anyone wanting or needing a weekend get away. Its a one stop place where you dont even need to leave to get good food, drinks, or anything. Great beach access and tiki bar by the pool. The view from the balcony was amazing. My only complaint is that the beds have hard plastic wheels on a tile floor and they make alot of noise when you are having intimate time with your partner. It was impossible to not make noise infact and neighboring rooms were not very pleased with it. Specifically below us and beside us.

Great location right on the beach. Private access. Beautifully redone. Guy Harvey put a ton of money into this place and it’s well kept. Would def return. The restaurant was good and the fresh squeezed juice and locally roasted coffee was amazing! Perfect place to stay!

Night of Lights couple retreat

It was a very clean hotel and one of the best that me and my husband has stayed at this far. We did run into an issue with cool water instead of hot but it was resolved quickly and the room was super nice. We stayed in an ocean view room and it was definitely worth it too see the amazing sunrise view we had as well as check in was super quick and easy. They have an in house restaurant and they we’re really nice and food was delicious we got the snow crab legs and fries and coleslaw and the crab cakes for an appetizer. If your staying in St. Augustine definitely stay here we stayed for the night of lights and the drive was only 20 or so minutes from where the lights were. Definitely will be coming back.

The property is at a great location. Rooms were pretty clean, but need updating. Especially the A/C system. It was so hot in the room I had to turn AC on when outside it was 44 degrees. One night I had to open balcony it was so hot in room. Definitely not well climatized system in rooms. The balcony door was odd for an ocean view also. The property overall is showing its age. The Guy Harvey artwork is nice, but for a property using the GH brand, it could definitely use some renovations.
