I stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holiday and gave it three stars mainly because it is still under renovation. While I was aware from reviews that remodeling was ongoing, I didn’t expect the lobby to look like a construction site when we checked in. To my surprise, I had to sign a consent form acknowledging the remodeling and agreeing to stay at the hotel despite the conditions. This felt unusual and added to my disappointment. The staff weren’t rude, but they also didn’t go out of their way to make us feel welcome. For the price I paid, especially when compared to the Historic Inn I stayed at the night before, the overall experience felt subpar. The room we stayed in had been remodeled but hadn’t been fully completed yet. It had limited lighting, and the water in the shower was only lukewarm—not cold, but definitely not hot enough for a comfortable shower. Additionally, despite the hotel being relatively empty due to renovations, they still charged a $10 parking fee. Waiving this fee would have been a thoughtful gesture to offset the inconvenience caused by the construction. My suggestion is to wait until the renovations are complete before staying here. I’m expecting that once the remodeling is finished, this hotel will have a decent look and live up to the standards of a pricey resort.

While our actual room was nice & roomy, the building was under construction, we were greeted very poorly & rudely, tried checking in 3 times & our room was finally ready for check in at 5:30 pm, front desk was so rude, kitchen a real desk, just a table in the middle of a construction zone, late check in due to lack of staff we assumed, had we known that this place was so unorganized, we would’ve never booked a room, I would not recommend staying here until they are completely finished updating & getting properly staffed. Terrible experience.

False advertising. No amenities as advertised rooms were incomplete not offering all normal items and furnishings. No mention ANYWHERE that the property was under construction. By the time we checked end (later at night due to work) we had no other options. We were also “on the hook” due to our payment was processed. This property should not be listed as an option. It was far from being the “resort” hotel we were expecting. Unsatisfactory

The staff of this location do not do their jobs, we requested room service more than five times in three days and no onemade up our room, my girlfriend and I eventually walked around the hotel and found towels and toilet paper ourselves Also, there was long hair and pubic hair still in the shower from the previous guests, which says they don’t even clean properly when they do get to cleaning rooms The showers are temperature controlled, but for the most part was still warmer than most of the hotels that we stayed at in Florida as everyone seems to have the heat dialled down.

We stayed for three nights and yes, they were booked on three separate reservations so It didn’t notify housekeeping every day but we went to the front desk three times and asked to have out room made up and even called down an additional two times and our room wasn’t made up a single time in three days and nobody ever seemed to care, my girlfriend and I walked around the hotel, and there was open doors for housekeeping services so we found our own towels and found some additional toilet paper on one of the cleaning carts. After spending close to C$1000 on the hotel for three nights having to find your own towels or knowing that the staff doesn’t care is a tough pill to swallow. There was also black hair and pubic hair in the shower from the previous guest, which shows you the rooms are not being cleaned properly, even when they will be attended to I gave you an extra star for service because the gentleman at the front desk is extremely accommodating and very friendly, either he never made the calls for housekeeping or housekeeping just didn’t care, but he was the only bright spot at your hotel was how friendly he was Showers also do not get hot here and they are temperature controlled, but they were still hotter than some of the other hotels we stayed at during our trip. Everyone seems to have the heat turned down in Florida.

This property is under renovation. Expect dust and noise in the morning. Also, the quality of the work is not good..there are some uneven floors in the room or not good finishing of the work. The restaurant, Gym sauna and lobby are under construction.. the jacuzzi is open .. and the location is very convenient next to the beach and restaurants

The hotel was under construction…very dusty and room smelled. We didn’t have hot water and the front desk said “this hotel doesn’t have that hot of water”. We also had a spider in the bathroom. We had a 5 year old and was too much to try and change hotels.

Average but has potential
staff was friendly and pleasant, room rate was lower which was good. Most ameneties were not available as its going thru a rebuild. No restaurant, no gym, lobby was under construction, pool was not heated and hot tub did not have jets working. Parking was $10 a night when there is a free public lot next door seemed chinsy to charge for parking when most of property was not available to use. Beach is walking distance which is very nice, overall once place is finished it should be very nice.
