Best bang for your buck
For the price I thought the room was excellent. The bed was clean and room was tidy. The bathroom floor was a little dirty but that would be my only complaint. Office staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean place off the interstate to drop the hook
No-frills, old-school motel. Back your rig right up to the door. It appears that the owners have restored the place. It was clean and tidy. Don't expect a bath towel, what you get is a frayed clothe barely big enough to cover a small dog.

The nonsmoking room was clean, but it had a very strong unpleasant odor. I questioned the owner to verify it was a nonsmoking room, and she insisted that it was. I kept the exterior door open for an extended period of time to allow fresh air to enter, which helped somewhat temporarily. The bathroom was the 1960s/1970s green, which I loved. Having lived in this town for the first half of my life, I was excited to stay in what was once The Ranch Motel.

Nice stay
Good size room, nice people, comfortable beds, newer shower/tub, reasonable price, and dog friendly with a big grassy area for them to run around in the back. I would definitely stay here again when passing through.

Great Motel
I don’t usually stay at this style of hotel (where the room doors are open to the public) but it was great! The bathroom is the cleanest hotel bathroom I’ve ever had. And if the bathroom is that clean, it made me think everything must be well cleaned. It was comfortable. I would recommend brining extension cords as the outlets are few and inconveniently placed. But I would definitely stay here again. This motel makes me want to take a chance on others of its kind.
