The employees and manager are always so nice and accomodating. The only downside is that the pool is freezing cold, and with 2 young children who seem immune to cold its a bit difficult to get in there with them and enjoy the experience.

Never going back

I wasn't expecting 5 star accommodations but it could have been better. The online photos are dated because the furniture is showing wear and tear. My room cleanliness lacked attention to detail; on my final night I found stray hairs on the bathroom floor and the side of the toilet had old vomit; the latter I didn't see until I was checking out. Every time I left foe the day and returned to my room my key card wouldn't work. On my final night after 3 attempts to recode the card, I was told that the door lock needed repair and that if I needed to leave my room to call the front desk to let me back into my room, which would have basically left me stuck in my room without assistance to het back in. Lastly 2 men got into a verbal altercation in the hallway at midnight. When I called the front desk to report this and shared that I didn't feel safe, the front desk attendant sounded like he was too scared to come and address the issue. Another guest intervened after sharing that they were disrupting her sleep and she had to go to work in the morning, then the men stopped arguing. I don't think that the front desk attendant ever came upstairs to speak with those guests. I will never stay here again.

Clean, reasonable price, and friendly staff

I have been coming up to Springfield for the last 2 weeks for work. The staff here is very nice. The rooms were very clean. Very safe area, Walmart and target less than 100 yards away. I will continue staying here when I travel for work.

The entire room smelt of cigarette smoke the minute you walk into the room. Our bathtub drain was not draining so we had a bathtub full of dirty water. I can let those things go, however, while blow drying my hair, the blow dryer blew up and started catching fire but was put out right away. It was brought to the attention of a male desk staff who didn’t seem to care. When Sarah walked in, she immediately stepped in and took care. Without her help, I never would’ve known what to do as this has NEVER happened. Worst experience ever!

Piss poor service

Spent half the night dealing with a smoker around our room. Went to the front desk to let them know and they did absolutely nothing about it. We ended up sleeping with the window cracked open and towels at the base of the door.

The only complaint I have is that I was there for a whole week and constantly there were kids running down the halls late at night. And whoever was in the room by me was wrestling or fighting it sounded like someone was thrown into the wall. It was so hard that the dresser drawers came shooting out

Our double queen suite was spacious and clean, with decent fridge, microwave and TV. Love the framed nature art. We were the only ones using the hot tub and pool, which both worked great. Beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was good, especially coffee and cinnamon roles, and staff were very nice. Great value overall. Recommended!

Interesting stay

The hotel was moderately clean. The room was decent however, upon walking into the bathroom, it smelled like someone had smoked and entire pack of cigarettes with the shower running. The hotel is extremely dated but I suppose you get what you pay for.

I liked the fact that the hotel was located near restaurants and super markets, which was very convenient. The things I did not like was the carpet in the hotel looked filthy ,the water in the bathroom sink and in the tub drained very slowly. Also I noticed the hot tub by the pool looked cloudy, like the water was dirty, my grandkids did enjoy the pool, though
