Overall hotel was fine for our needs. Housekeeping was perhaps a bit of an issue. I don't feel as though we were left with sufficient towels, with the exception of 1 night and the tissue wasn't replenished. Our room was left open after housekeeping was through and after reporting this to the desk, we were left with the impression that we'd get a response from the GM, but we never did. I would stay again if the need arose, but this was for an emergency situation at our home and this was the closest property - it wasn't for vacation, so it was a stressful time overall. Breakfast was great every day - thanks for that! And Noah was very helpful and polite as well.

Jim, our front desk agent, was incredibly kind, cordial, knowledgeable, and insightful. He made our stay feel extremely special and accommodated. Plus, the room was excellent and so was the steakhouse next door, which we got room service for. Swimming in the pool was another excellent delight. We would highly recommend staying at the D for anyone—a solo traveler, a couple, a family, or a group of friends!

Forget It

Despite not being able to make the trip because I was planning an unexpected funeral, and having stayed there many times for lacrosse tournaments over the past 20 years, this hotel would not honor a refund when our family was not able to make the trip. Hotels.com informed me that they canceled the room ahead of time, but they only canceled one room, not both, so one of the nights looked like I was a no-show, which is not the case. This is not the hotel's busy season. One would think they would not want to lose a long-time customer over $200. Whatever the rules are, they should have been more understanding.
