When we checked in there was drywall mud that had fallen out of the ceiling into the bath tub. Had to scrap it off the tub to get the tub to drain properly. It was a very poorly done, recent repair. There was also Black mold Stachybotrys chartarum on the bathroom ceiling near the repair. (I'm a building and mold inspector) One member of our party felt sick while in the room. The toilet also did not flush unless you held the handle or opened the tank and held the flapper valve open. It almost over flowed 4 times during our stay. We informed the staff, all they did was write it down in a note book to let someone know later.

Overall it was a great stay. Iron in room didnt work, front desk wasnt available when i called, continental breakfast sucked. No meat, or eggs just sausage gravy n waffles. No a variety to choose from. Id stay again just not partake in breakfast

The desk staff was rude. She assumed I was going to steal hotel items because I hadn't traveled far to get there. The room was run down with old broken pieces of the headboard, dings in the desk, even the lampshade had holes in it. There was nothing in that room I'd want. The breakfast was poor with no eggs, just a pot of gravy that made me sick. We were looking for a getaway spot but we won't be returning to this place.

In general, the hotel was okay. The pool was clean, but pool towells would have been helpful. The bathroom and shower were working fine and the bedroom area was good. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was warm. Thank you. I did notice some points needingbrepair aroundcand within the hotel; an insurance auditor was reviewing the site and likely would have those pictures to descibe inndetail.

Side entry doors that normally would require a card key were broken and anyone can open it without a key. Requested a room change due to mold in the shower, stains on the bedding making it unclear if they were clean. New room had ants in the bathroom and stained bedding again. Kids yelling and running up and down the hallway at 11pm.

This hotel was old and was showing many signs of wear. The room itself had an odd odor and was not somewhere we wanted to spend any kind of time. The service was okay but not very hospitable in general. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The He front end lady was very nice and apologized then refunded payment to Hotels.com
One live roach, then also found a dead one while checking for bed bugs. Did not want to take a risk transporting bugs from the hotel to my home.
