The good: This hotel is very convenient to St. James, which is where we had to go for ice hockey. The lobby is clean and updated. The breakfast area has a nice selection. Now the bad: Aside from the lobby, rest of the hotel is pretty dated and not well maintained. In the elevator, the wall panels have broken off pieces near the bottom. Our bathroom was dirty and the grout near the floor was pretty nasty. There were scrapes on the wall where the table and chair are located, and they ran a cable wire around the door. The sink for the bathroom is next to the closet in the bedroom area, not in the bathroom.

Staff was welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Overall facilities were clean and well lit. The room was a bit dusty so I was sneezing and sniffling for a while.
