Had a prepaid reservation for 3 nights. Travel plans changed and I missed the first night. Showed up on the second night and was told that they were sold out and had no rooms. I told them I had already been charged for the room. They found a room for me, and when I went to the room it was under construction with tools and molding laying on the beds and masking for paint. I went back to the front desk and they found me a different room. When I went to go in that room, a dog from inside the room starting to bark. They had given me a room that was already occupied. At that point I told the clerk at the desk that I expected a refund for the additional 2 nights.
We are a group of six friends and brothers on a motorcycle tour of the Southwest. We picked this motel based on price, but we were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the property. It's in good shape. Everything worked. And the rooms were very clean. There was a good restaurant right across the parking lot. We recommend this property wholeheartedly.
Checked in and had an issue from the very beginning. Went to the room and had to turn the water on for the toilet and the sink because it was turned off at the valve. Beds are super uncomfortable. Had to check out early and the manager would not allow me to do so and charged my card for the full stay. Would not work with the hotels.com service either

I booked this hotel on Expedia. When I got to the office to check in, the clerk told me my room was no longer available and that I would have to pay to upgrade to a different room. The new room was one that was listed on Expedia for the same price. When I questioned this, the clerk told me he no longer had any rooms available and he wouldn’t rent anything to me. I got a refund and had to find another hotel. My husband and I are senior citizens so this was hard for us. This kind of practice is bait and switch. It should be illegal.
For the price it was clean and service was good and was pet friendly. However, the facilities are very dated and someone should look into how to remove rust and stains from bathroom surfaces and counter tops. There were other issues such as a bad door, it was rotted on the bottom and would not close properly. The door between adjoining rooms had atleast an inch space to the floor did not feel very comfortable. And someone did try to make repairs with calking in bathroom but the should be taught how to do it correctly was a mess.
