Lobby/restaurant were freezing. Guests and Staff were all wearing coats. Room was poor quality (dirty towel left there; bathroom too small to turn around in.) Had a 3 night reservation. Left after 1 night; still waiting on manager to call me back about refund for last 2 nights (or all 3!).

We had to cancel so lost all our money. Not happy about having to pay for a room we never saw. Unfortunately they did not offer a refundable option. I won’t be making a reservation with this hotel ever again unless they offer a reservation without prepay.

I did not like the fact we didn't have a working toilet during one of the nights we stayed. It was fix but, was really awkward to have maintenance person in and out of the room plus it was extremely an inconvenience to have to leave our room due to false fire alarm

Roaches! This place needs to be fumigated. We saw a couple of roaches in our room from the moment we arrived. However, we thought well maybe it is not a big problem. When they end up in your bed on your pillow that is when I draw the line. We left early our last night. We told the front desk. All the staff were extremely nice and very dedicated when performing their jobs. The restaurant food was excellent! The pool area is old and needs refurbishing. This place is just run down… but the staff is great.

Great location, a few service improvements
The hotel is in a great location with direct beach access. The room was spacious and clean, although could use with a revamp as some parts felt a little dated. The heated pool with the bar was lovely. Drinks at the bar were good and evening entertainment was fun. When we checked in we were asked for a card for payment, however the original card used to secure the room through hotels.com was actually charged which was confusing. We had requested a King room but were given a double queen and told no Kings were available, however online it looked like the hotel was still selling King rooms which was confusing. Breakfast was not explained to us and we were not given vouchers for it; we tried Breakfast on the 2nd day and it was almost an hour between getting down there and ordering our food. A buffet would be better. I asked 3 times for a hot drink but never received one. After finishing breakfast I asked if we needed to provide our room number as it was included in our rate, however I received the check and was told we ordered the wrong menu items so had to pay - this had not been explained to us, but after speaking with the front desk they took care of it. The food was OK at best.

Bad room…. Toilet wouldn’t flush
Very very bad room. 1. When we went in I noticed the toilet had dark spots and clutter in the water. When I flushed it the water flowed VERY slowly. 2. Carpet in the whole room was damp. Room had a funky smell. 3. When I tried to rinse off, the water was cluttered with junk coming from inside the faucet. We couldn’t get it to work from the shower head. It wouldn’t work because it seemed stuck with brown junk. 4. At 1:00 in the morning, my husband was sick from his stomach and the toilet wouldn’t flush. He ended up FIXING THE TOILET HIMSELF! 5. Tried to shower and it wouldn’t work. He FIXED THE SHOWER HEAD HIMSELF. I know the front desk told us maintenance would have fixed it, but when you are sick, you can’t wait around for someone to come and fix the toilet. You need it NOW!!!

The hotel was great, but booking through expedia i ended up getting charged 2x because the resort wasnt able to locate my payment so i had to pay at the front desk again
