We loved our view of the ocean. Unfortunately that is the only thing we loved. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. There was a continual knocking which was annoying. The bathroom toilet kept running unless we jiggled the handle quite a bit after using it. The emergency announcement kept coming on over the intercom they have in the room with another announcement minutes later that there was no emergency and we could return to our rooms. No explanation for this was ever given. The staff were not very nice and totally misleading when we checked in about the parking fees. We love South Padre, but will not return tot his hotel in the future.

If you are looking for white sand beach, as they claim to be. This is not the right place. But if tou just want to stay in a nice hotel with Caribbean Atmosphere, then The Margaritaville is a great option!

Too many kids were in the swim up bar area, staff had to come there and tell them they weren't allowed. Shortly after staff left the parents let them back in. Need bigger signs with no one under 21 in that area.
