To start this is not a safe area for family & children****** The hotel hosted an accommodation for our traveling club. We requested a double bed a month and half ago. When we checked in, they had an inexperience employee with 3 week tenure take care of one of the busiest weekends (MDW). The manager put us in a King size with sofa bed. Sofa bed dirty, no pillows or sheets. I tried to get accommodation, the managers hours were 11 PM - 7 AM, making it impossible to receive accommodation. To add more to this situation the staff checked in other players after us & gave them a double bed.

The first impression is always the check-in and it went very well. The person on duty at about 11:00pm was courteous, friendly and efficient. It went quickly. The room it self was bigger than expected and clean. We couldn't have asked for better. This had one of the better breakfasts I've had a a hotel. 2 types of eggs, bacon, cereal, pancakes, bagels, juice, coffee, milk and more. Very well done. A cool touch was the painting done on the ceiling of the long hallway on the 1st floor. Somebody spent a lot of time painting a sky and different birds. The shower pressure was great. The housekeeping staff was polite and very efficient. I used the workout room, which was clean. A full rack of dumbbells, 2 benches, 4 machines. It was nice. I didn't use the pool but it looked like a standard hotel pool and included a shower head to rinse off. This was a really good hotel.

The staff was very helpful. We couldn’t get the heat on in the first room so the gentleman moved us to another room with ease and friendliness. And the heat worked well in the second room. He also told my husband about where to get dinner nearby. Breakfast was very good.
