The public Interior of the property was nice. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was fairly standard but the areas were clean. The tables at breakfast were unusually small, what would be suitable for two chairs all had four. The room we were given was nice and the bedding was very clean. The reason for the low rating was the horrible smell in the bathroom. We never could figure out what it was. It smelled like a cross between something that had been burning or some kind of sewage smell. We only stayed one night and would stay again, hopefully not getting the same room before it is given attention. It was also strange on the outside how much of the area was potholed and unpaved, just bare dirt not even gravel. I would have hated to be there during a rain event

The staff was all very pleasant and nice. When we first arrived in our room, the bathroom fan was running and there was a strong smell in the room. I’m not even sure what it was… hadn’t smelt anything like it. Later during our stay, we found a few live crickets wandering around the room and my wife ended up with some type of bug bites (flea or bedbug) in the morning. I’m assuming that the smell was some type of insecticide… Would not stay here again or recommend it.
