My husband and I just stayed for the weekend and loved it! We will definitely go back. We loved our room, our bed was amazing, everywhere was very clean and everyone was nice and friendly. Located right off the highway made it very accessible and easy to leave and come back. we don't have a dog, but many family members of ours do and I found it to be very accommodating to those with a dog, we have already recommended it to multiple family members for their next stay. The continental breakfast that was included had way more options than I expected for a free breakfast. It had the cottage in the woods feel with being right there off the highway. LOVED IT!

we loved the family atmosphere, cleanliness and proximity to Door County activities. Adults and children alike loved the facility. there was a beautiful indoor pool, playground, fire pit, picnic area on a beautiful patio out back! would love to stay there again

We usually spend 2 nights in Door County every year in August, this year we could only stay for 1. Our usual hotel would not let us stay less then 2 day, which was something that most of the hotels/resorts we found were doing, it was super frustrating as we were coming up on a Sunday night. We found Open Hearth had room for one night but better then that a suite with 2 bedrooms so our friends could stay too! When we got there we were met by Manager Jake who was AMAZING. The hotel, was welcoming, clean, had many amenities and was quiet. I think we will use this hotels for future trips as they seem to want to make sure they have a full hotel and less worried about making money 2 nights in a row. Would highly recommend this hotel for couples and families!

Impromptu trip to Door County, so used Expedia booking for the trip. Very easy to book and no problems checking in. I believe I received an upgrade to a king suite w/jet tub. Two huge rooms, full kitchen, very clean and comfortable bed. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub. They had a large fire pit area, but a large group was using it. My neighbor has recommended Open Hearth Lodge because they have dog friendly rooms & a dog wash! Highly recommend and will definitely book in the future.

Loved the hotel. Not super close to the downtown area of sister bay so you have to drive but outside of that i highly recommend this hotel. Good service, amenities, clean, good breakfast, good price....etc.

This hotel was beautiful and clean. The landscaping was beautiful. There was an outdoor fire every night to sit around with my family. There was lots of land behind the hotel to walk. They had board games and cornhole available to play. The pool and hot tub were very nice. We didn’t have our dogs with but I noticed a very nice fenced in area for dogs to run. The staff were all very nice and helpful as well. I definitely plan on coming back.
