Bad Shower

Staff was friendly! The bed though, super hard. To be fair, I am incredibly picky. The room overall was clean, but shower felt like it was rotted underneath by the drain. It was sketchy. I thought I was going to fall through the tile floor. Also, we left the door closed on the bathroom and when we opened it, it smelt like urine so bad. The bathroom was clean and we couldn’t figure out where the smell was coming from. Just to note, the toilet was flushed and clean so it wasn’t that. Maybe the rotten shower drain? Not sure, but the smell got better after we showered. We managed for the night.

The key card system wasn't working, so we had to have a staff member unlock our room door each time we wanted back in. . . Finally, we were able to get a card after about a day.

Clean and comfortable

It was a fairly basic hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is free, but didn’t get to partake. Would stay again if I’m ever in the area

The room had a strong air freshener scent. Due to allergies this was not good for me. The bed was hard and the chair in the room was not comfortable. The person that was in charge of the breakfast room was very vocal about his beliefs and shared them with anyone who would listen.

I DON’T RECOMMEND this hotel due to payment incompetence. Booked room for 1 night through Expedia and stayed one night. Americinn got paid via the 3rd party. A few days later the hotel charged me again. Despite numerous phone calls to them, they insisted they “have no record of my credit card”. My credit card statement doesn’t lie, it shows the record. Since they refused to refund it, I was forced to call the credit card company and dispute it. I am a reasonable person and understand errors happen, just correct it. They did nothing to help, were not communicative or sympathetic, and just pretended they had no record of the charge. Terrible customer service. Won’t stay there again.

I’ve stayed at this property many, many times. It’s clean and in such a convenient area. Only complaint this last time is the elevator didn’t work and I was on the 4th floor…but that’s not their fault. I’ll still come back when I’m in Sioux Falls again. They are my go to.

Our trip was for surgery at a specialty hospital.everything was exceptional. Great atmosphere, ease of changing our length of stay, included breakfast had a variety of choices, staff was helpful, all around great stay.

Wonderful. Clean, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, not only of the hotel but driving directions to where we needed to go, friendly, and our requested room location was great. We did have problems with the room key but was taken care of immediately. Definite our place to stay next time.

We noticed a very strong fragrance in the room as we walked in. It immediately was causing a headache and sinus congestion. We opened the window and it still didn't clear out. We opened the door into the hallway to get some air flowing through and it improved a little until we shut the door again. I replied to the text that was sent to me asking about our room and never got any response. It was a miserable night sleeping in that smell! It was so strong that the smell is still on our coats a day later. We had them hanging in the closet in the room. Possibly something in the carpet? It smelled like someone had dumped a gallon of Fabuloso in there! We couldn't pin it down because the whole room smelled so strong! This is a definite no for someone with scent sensitivity. We won't be staying here again.

We stayed 5 days earlier at this location and had good experience. However, our second stay was very different. The elevator wasn't working, so we hauled gear up 3 flights of stairs. Staff offered no apology, nor a discounted rate for the lack of an elevator. Our room had a strong scent that caused a headache. When reporting to staff about the scent no apology was offered. We would have stayed at a different hotel but due to an event in town no lodging was available, and this hotel was completely booked.
