Wants to be eco-friendly

I appreciated the effort to offer eco-friendly options, but unfortunately, they weren't practical. The room lacked windows that could be opened, leaving it consistently humid. (Though, to be fair, Singapore’s climate might have made little difference.) To get dry towels, we had to get new ones daily. Even leaving the air conditioning on all day didn't help dry them out.

Convenient location

The hotel itself was fine . The rooms are a bit small . The staff were really good. The location is great . A short walk to the subway station. We got off the cruise ship ,500 meters to the subway and 3 stops to the hotel (just tap your credit card for the fare) . It was 1 hour to the airport from the hotel . Very close to china town and short ride to gardens by the bay . Quite ish location ,not a lot of shops around but potential noise from restaurants across the street (I never heard them).

Reasonably priced hotel in Chinatown

Loved the location. Very reasonably priced. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants and eating places close by. My room had an outdoor patio which was nice. The rooms are a bit small but adequate, clean and comfortable for a single person.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. The hotel is very clean, furnished beautifully, and is in a great location in Chinatown. There are a couple reasons why we didn't give this stay 5/5. First, we found the male staff who checked us in to be quite cold and unwelcoming. The female staff at the desk at other times during our stay was very welcoming and friendly. We paid extra for the 'Premier Studio' when booking because we understood it had a private terrace (as pictured). We realized it didn't when checking-in, we were informed that the fine print says the 'Premier Studio' either comes with a private terrace or extra space with a sofa. We wouldn't have booked this room if we knew it didn't have a private terrace. The room was spacious but the use of space was strange - a tiny bathroom and way too much storage for a hotel stay. We were told at check-in that our room had a coffee maker and it did not - there is a coffee machine in the public kitchen. We didn't have any issues with street noise during our stay. Overall a good experience, just be careful and check what your room includes in the fine print.

Ke-Sa House was a fantastic base for exploring Singapore. Our premier room was immaculate, very quiet, cool, and comfortable. The communal kitchen with terrace was handy for making breakfast & snacks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location - walkable & close to train connections. Loved our stay!

Love staying Here! Unfortunately my most recent stay required me to check in at 2am Christmas Day. I was waiting outside the front door for about 10 min with no idea if someone was actually going to come and open the door. I had notified reception the day before that I was checking in at this time too. Also my room was towards the edge of the hotel and I could hear the pub down the road and had trouble getting to sleep.

Kesa House is located in a very attractive area and convenient for the metro and China Town. I liked my room but found it small and the mattress was higher than other places I've stayed at in order to make storage space and there were also 2 steps to the bathroom. The kitchen was a good addition and the staff friendly. Would recommend and stay again but pay for a larger room with a view.

The property was in such a great location, very near to anything you’d want to do in Singapore- 15 mins to little India, downtown/marina bay, airport, etc and walking distance to Maxwell Food Center. The staff was lovely and even got me in early after I arrived at 5 am. The room was very comfortable and I appreciated the free coffee machine and water on tap.

Super close to hawker stalls and Michelin restaurants. So many modes of transportation nearby and you can walk to China town and Marina Bay Area. Lots of shops, restos and coffee shops near by. rooms are super small but they’re clean, comfy and designed well for the space limitation.

Good location but noisy and musty smell in bedroom

Location is good. Easy access from MTR station and close to a hawker centre. However room had unpleasant musty smell and rug in the room was super dirty and did not feel clean. I’m not a light sleeper constant 24hours sound and shake from MTR below the hotel kept me awake, and if you stay over weekend, stamping music sound from near by bar is very noticeable.
