We always stay at the Lulu when we are in Silver City. It’s inexpensive and a convenient place to stay. That said, this time around our room was a bit dirty. The floors were covered in grime and left the bottoms of our feet super dirty. The comforter was pretty stained as well. All in all still worth the price compared to other options in town.

We stayed here for our softball tournament. Rooms were nice and there was beautiful shade out front. Breakfast area was very small so we decided to go elsewhere

This hotel charges you even if you don’t check in on time We checked in after 3 and they charged my bank card prior to us even arriving. Our room wasn’t ready and clean when we arrived. The hotel needs some upkeep Staff are nice but customer service is lacking The rates are a bit high for the quality of the room We had to change rooms due to the cleanliness of the first room The second room was decent

Got to the room and pulled back the covers to get into bed there was a beetle in the bed. Got it out. Then got up in the morning to shower, cold water in tub did not work so you could not adjust temperature to shower. Hot water was hot, but no cold. Then go to check out and complain, nobody could do anything cause no manger. So got managers number. Jamie (956) 465-3642. He tells me he will talk to corporate, and he will work with me. That was on Sunday. Today is Wednesday and had to text him to see what was going on. Said he would be at lulus at 6pm. And he would have me an answer. 8:48 and I have to text him for an answer. Now he says did you go through Expedia? Yes I did. You have to go through them. Unbelievable! So now what? Hope this is going to the right place. Thanks, Patricia room# 239. Hope to have an answer soon.

Good and inexpensive place to stay in Silver City. If you are planning to drive to Gila Dwellings. The other option is Bandelier National Park close to Santa Fe and much much easier to get to. If you drive to Gila plan on many many 10 mph curves...its beautiful but Bandelier is equally nice.
