Lovely
Very different and lovely. Great drawing room to chill out. Room needs some tlc and deep clean in some areas. Otherwise if was clean and tidy for our stay

Great mini break in Sidmouth, returning to the Royal Glen after a previous stay earlier in the year. Very much a traditional seaside hotel with an excellent breakfast and decent sized rooms. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful which made for a very enjoyable stay ( especially as it was our Anniversary) The only thing that was a bit lacking was the bathroom space for an executive room

We enjoyed the grade 1 listed building and surroundings. The history and comfort of the building. The bedroom was a bit small but adequate. The food was delicious. The Staff were friendly and efficient.

Relaxing stay
Very relaxing, comfortable room, small bathroom but was fine. Everyone in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Lounge rooms very very quiet and had a secure from one.

The food is excellent. I had a great breakfast everyday. I ate dinner there the first night which was very good. The staff are very nice. The Drawing Room and grounds are stunning. It was wonderfully close to the beach.

Royal Glen
We had a lovely stay at the Royal Glenn Sidmouth. Staff were friendly and they allowed us to remain parked in the car park after we had checked out in the morning although we were still in the hotel having a sting outside in the patio area. We are already planning our next trip.

We stayed for one night. The rooms are very dated. Shower room was also dated with vineer pealing off the bottom off the sink unit. The staff at breakfast were all lovely. But i wouldnt stay again A Two Star rating would probably be more accurate

A lovely, old-fashioned (in a good way) hotel. Just out of the way but an easy stroll to the town and seafront. The staff are professional but very friendly and attentive. Our standard dog friendly room was comfortable and nicely furnished. We didn't use the indoor pool, but it looked nice. Breakfast was excellent. Food and service top rate. Bring your own toiletries, no soap or shower gel in the room. That is why I dropped a star for facilities. I highly recommend this hotel.
