Very poor even for a budget hotel

Most basic budget hotel I have ever stayed in. Toilet in a cupboard shower and sink in bedroom. Photos very misleading. Breakfast was very poor. Curled up cheese, one choice of pastry, tinned fruit. However location for arena was excellent and good restaurants across the road.

You get what you pay for, was a comfortable stay at short notice and very very reasonably priced. No kettle, no iron. Lighting was good in the room, bed reasonably comfortable, 2 towels provided for my over night stay, television to pass the time and great central location. Yes there was a £8 charge for parking, how ever over all price was much cheaper than some of the other options. I would stay again. Just don’t expect luxury for the price.

friendly staff, clean room, the only problem we had was the lift wasn't working so it was a struggle with the stairs, but that's not the staffs fault. Very good stay

You do get what you pay for, however toilet claustrophobic, shower temp changed a lot which was awful. Room exceedingly small and beds think and uncomfortable

Below expectation!!

I felt the room was quite small with a small shower cubicle and a very small separate toilet! Bed was uncomfortable. A plastic stool (no back rest) was provided.

Cold in room .. draught by window .. no hand towels no towel to step out of shower ! Breakfast chaos.. Amazon delivery hub opposite so extremely noisy in the morning felt like you were sleeping in a car park ! Don’t stay here ! Budget is an understatement

Really was basic ..had a disabled access room that was far from cosy ..I’ve stayed in a lot more hotels that offer so much more for the £88 we were charged. Ideal for the arena though and £8 for a days parking

Expect to pay for parking and tea/coffee.

Nothing wrong here, but they don't have a kettle or tea/coffee, (you have to buy it in reception). Also £8 to park your car in the car park.

If budget is what you are looking for

Good for a budget hotel though I have stayed in more modern and spacious budget hotels. Room is small not much space to move around bed was almost touching both walls. Hotel itself was tired and there was some damp and mould around the windows it is however in a great location for Sheffield EIS, arena and ice rink. Good for a night or two stay if you need to be in the area

Sleepless in Seatle

The mattress and pillow were so uncomfortable both me and husband couldn't sleep till totally exhausted near dawn. Never experienced in any hotel b4. Would never return to Ibis.

Great hotel with lovely staff

Hotel in great location for Arena and EIS. Very clean and staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was compact but comfortable. It was great for the price. We had breakfast which was ok but very handy as we were in a rush. We will definitely use again.

Room was comforable and warm but we woke up to drilling and banging around 8am as the hotel had maintenence going on. Surely it would have made more sense to close that floor or not have rooms so close to the maintenence booked.
