Weekend stay
Two nights stop over, needing some place cheap. One of the cheapest rooms in Sheffield for a weekend so you get a small bed in a small room. Room was warm and clean although a bit dated. Shower is directly off the room, no separate changing area. Air con/heater was a bit noisy even when turned off. But for the price, saved over a hundred pounds compared to other budget chains, no real complaints.

Not as cheap as it looks at face value!!
Despite appearing cheap, once in the place you can’t even get a tea or coffee for free! Breakfast was an extra £17 and all that was on offer was cooked meats, cheese, fruit and some dry looking cakes, ended up paying another £17 somewhere else for an actual English breakfast and was refused a refund at the hotel for their pathetic excuse of a breakfast, and to top it off, was charged an extra £7 for the privilege of parking there. Could have stayed across the road for the same price and got better service and a better breakfast.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. Reception area is very clean and bright. Rooms are a little dated but we all had a very good sleep, finding the beds very comfortable. Parking on the Saturday was difficult, with a limited car park that was difficult to manoeuvre around. It's only a few minutes walk to the arena and there are plenty of eateries and entertainment places close by.

We booked a room for the night as we were attending a show at the Sheffield Arena. The Ibis was convenient and suited our purposes. No frills but comfortable and friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again when the occasion arises
