Excellent building condition and surroundings. They actually even upgraded my parents’ room and gave them a free wine because they waited for additional hours for the actual room to be ready and the hotel was very apologetic of that. The only thing was the breakfast was a bit stale compared to the price, but overall great stay.

The staff was fantastic from helping book taxis to translation aid. Aside from that my room, with a River view, was breathtaking. I felt so relaxed. Highly recommend and p.s. don't skip the breakfast buffet.

Great family stay only surpassed by the service

From the moment we checked in through to our departure we were met by exceptional hospitality and service. We dined at all three restaurants and each meal was great. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and a special shoutout to Luigi whom developed a special friendship with our 3.5 year old whom he called his hotel friend. Thank you again Luigi for making our stay so memorable and lighting up a 3 y.o day each morning with your friendliness. Would definitely come back to stay when we come back to Shanghai.

The MO at Pudong was a hidden gem, with a quiet surrounding and a ver pleasant atmosphere for our two night stay. The VIP benefit was 300 yuan discount off spa services, which was not that useful considering all spa services started at 1450 yuan. The room AC was not working properly but a technician was able to fix it after we called and complained about the problem. The hotel manager came and apologized and offered us some fresh fruit for the night and a nice box of chocolate when we checked out. Overall, the level of service was as expected for MO. The hotel is near the Gala Mall which has a number of restaurants offering different cuisines from parts of China. It’s convenient to get to other parts of shanghai and the view from our room was also quite spectacular. For those who are seeking a walkable distance to lively shopping and crowd scenes, it maybe preferable to be on the other side of the river. Overall, this is still a great choice.
