Was much better than I expected. Keys were left For us after hours for check in. Room was clean and enough room in the 3 bedroom option for my family of 5. We locked ourselves out of the room by accident and the manager was there after hours to immediately let us in. Nice hot shower after a long 12hr drive through the area. Would stay again.

This property is a very good value for the price and I would highly recommend it for anyone who needs to stay on a budget. The hotel was clean, check-in was easy, and the environment was safe. The Mountain Aire Inn is in a convenient location with many dining options and tourist attractions nearby. I would stay again, but am giving it a 4 stars due to its lack of breakfast and because there are nicer hotel rooms out there, however I believe this is the best one you can get for the price and it is the best budget hotel that I have stayed in.

Quaint and Clean!! Great stay!
The room was exceptionally clean and you can tell that they take pride in their cleanliness! It is dated, but they have updated it well. I do wish the beds were a little more comfy, but that's a personal preference and does not speak to the quality of the stay. It is well located being just outside of Pigeon Forge proper so you don't have to constantly fight the traffic of the tourist area, but close enough its not hard to get too!

Bad WiFi. No room service at all. LOUD. But clean.
People say you get what you pay for? Back in the day $100-$200 a night would get you a clean room WITH service included. Not anymore. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. And I have to give credit where credit is due…the room was ✨SPOTLESS✨. That’s my priority as a nurse. Unfortunately our entire stay we weren’t offered any kind of service including clean towels, stumbled over our tiny little bags of trash all over the room, the bed was like a rock (both my fiancé & I have old back injuries making it worse), the fitted sheet slipped off & had to be fixed everytime you sat down or rolled over, the pillows were flat & offered no support, & all we heard was LOUD traffic from the main road & kids screaming at the pancake house next door to our room. Not to mention the wifi was so spotty we couldn’t watch tv or play games we brought with us the entire trip. Hotel standards were sent to h*ll during covid & absolutely never recovered. They think it’s industry standard now, instead. The jacuzzi tub in the room was the only good thing about this stay.

Don't pay for an upgrade!!!
When we booked the room we paid for an upgraded room with 2 queen beds. Upon arrival we were given a room with 2 full size beds. I went to the desk and told them the situation and they told me that it wasn't possible and they wouldn't make a change. They made extra money off of my upgrade. Not a great business straegy. We needed a longer stay but I refused to give them any more money and moved to another hotel a mile down the road. The only upside to this hotel is that the housekeepers keep it very clean.
