3 Nights in Seoul

Mixed feelings about this review. I've stayed here in 2022 and really enjoyed it back then so I chose to stay again for 3 nights. I was a little disappointed this time around. I'll explain the pros and cons, for me: Pros: staff are really friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were seamless and they store luggage, if needed. The room is very spacious (deluxe King room) and the bed is very comfortable. The location is not too far from Seoul station and about 15m walk to Myeongdong area. Cons: the location itself doesn't have a convenience store that opens late nearby. The room feels a little dated compared to other hotels nowadays (the light switch to control all lights isn't by the bed. The lamps and lighting look a bit dated and yellowish). The walls must be a little thin because I didn't sleep well as I was awoken several times through the night by other guests making lots of noise, running, talking loudly in the hallway, and doors slamming, etc. I think housekeeping starts too early too (maybe even 730am? 8am?), as I can hear them loudly as they do the work with the doors open. And when they're done they slam (all doors must be heavy and slam shut). Overall, it's a very nice hotel and in a good location. But I paid a bit more in choosing this one and left feeling a bit disappointed. I would probably choose another option for my next visit to Seoul as I've stayed in others as well, literally a block away. Overall, 8/10 for me this time around.

The staff were friendly and the Manager Andy Park was excellent. Always smiling and helpful. Very happy with this hotel. The room was always clean and not one spec of dust.

So spacious and the best staff!

We purposely booked here because of their junior suites, where there’s a large bathroom with a huge mirror, separate living room and kitchen/dining table area. I traveled with 2 other girls so we definitely needed the space to get ready and for all our luggage plus all the shopping we were anticipating to do. Every morning the housekeepers would check in with us and ask if we wanted our room cleaned and even when we didn’t, they still refilled our fridges with water everyday and gave us fresh sets of towels. Super sweet and attentive! We loved our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something spacious and central!

The rooms were quite roomy for an Asian hotel in the center of the city. However, the furnishings , as well as the facilities seemed a bit dated and well used. While the staff were reserved, they had communication issues with us as they speak limited English. The hotel is a bit separated from the major streets and sites in the area...but the area was quiet with a few restaurants and a convenience store nearby.

Great location near namedemun market, bus stops and the green 2/perimeter train line so you can explore locally or get around seoul easily. The staff was so nice and very helpful with providing information. The pool area was very nice and the fitness room has free weights.
