We went there to escape the Hurricane and were faced with a tornado. No power. The noise on the roof kept my daughter awake all night. Nothing you could control. But a bad experience.

Safe and Accommodating
We evacuated from home because of a hurricane and selected this hotel not knowing anything about it. It turned out to be a very wise choice. Staff were well prepared for whatever happened even during a severe storm and loss of power. From the manager to the wait staff and maintenance everyone did a great job of meeting everyone's needs. Most of the guests were elderly and some with special needs. The place ran like a well oiled machine. It was obvious that they had been through this type of ordeal many times and dealt with it accordingly. I met several people who said they had stayed there before, some many times during storms and it was their go-to place for safety. We were lucky to find it and to book early enough to get a room. All I can say to sum it up is Fabulous!
