Fantastic historical charm. My 6th floor corner room has 12 foot ceilings, deep crown molding, 4 enormous windows, dark solid wood furnishings and a whirlpool tub. Lounge downstairs looks like a gentleman's club: deep upholstery, dark corners, beautiful,well stocked bar. This place! It's a well preserved gem in a vibrant part of town.

Nice property with old world charm. The Polar Bar was wonderful but closed for a couple of hours on New Year’s Eve for a wedding party. This was quite inconvenient for hotel guests as the hotel only has one bar. The bedrooms had lots of character. The bed was comfortable and it was a nice touch to have a French press coffee jug. Room was cold and no matter what we changed on the heating, it blew cold air.

The hotel itself was absolutely incredible. Staff were incredibly friendly. The facilities were very clean. The lounge/bar was very welcoming and comfortable. The neighborhood on the other hand wasn't that great especially at night time. Lots of sirens and you could hear people outside yelling at the top of their lungs through out the night. I understand the hotel has zero control of what goes on outside of their facility so 5 stars.

Amazing hotel, beautiful and cozy
This was an absolutely beautiful hotel. I was so blown away by the beauty and the history of this place. The customer service was also so wonderful. Everyone was super nice and we slept great in our room. We didn’t have anything to complain about except the valet parking is pretty expensive.

Check-in staff was amazing. Very helpful and accommodating. Our room was not cleaned during the 4 nights we were there and we had to repeatedly ask for towels and toilet paper. Location is good, but lots of noise from ambulances/police. Also had a hard time getting our car out of valet one day.

The hotel was so full of history and stories, we love places like this! Such a great experience inside the hotel, great parking options out front. We happened to be there on a weekend, we parked all day on Sunday for free! GREAT location if spending your time downtown! We walked to Lumen field in less than 15 minutes! The front desk staff were so kind! They put all of our ice packs into their deep freeze for us overnight as we had planned to get a lot of groceries the following day. I will admit that parking services at the hotel are quite expensive. They only have valet options at 65USD per night - but we watched people waiting for their car outside in the pouring rain with all of their belongings for upwards to 20 minutes. We requested a jacuzzi suite, the tub was nice but I did expect it to be a bit bigger. Barely fit two of us. All in all, an amazing property, very clean, amazing staff, trinkets and keepsakes available to purchase, and such a stunning old historical building! We will likely be back. :)
