They charge a facilities fee for amenities but the amenities have diminished substantially. Otherwise I’d give a 5 rating but if you are going to charge per night for amenities then provide amenities.

We liked it- didn’t love the new “bed sacks” that sort of mimic sleeping bags and eliminated sheets and traditional bedding, nothing personalized for the additional charges other than a welcome “drink” on night one.

Fun pineapple stay!

This was such a fun stay. I never knew you could create so many pineapple look alikes, even the toilet paper! Tyler was super helpful at the front desk! I will definitely return.

Unexpected fees.

4/5 2 minutes ago on Google I enjoyed my stay at the pineapple university very much. Room was satisfactory and clean, staff were friendly and the simple touches of free beverages etc were appreciated. However after checking out I was not informed about extra charges and fees that were added to my bill. I had prepaid this room in Canadian $ which had pushed the bill to $450 for a two night stay, this was fine but then to add another $96 for Washington tax and other incidentals which I was not informed about I thought was cheeky. I can’t say that $550c for a 2 night stay was worth it. I’ve stayed in much more luxurious hotels for less. Again I was not informed of this charge. I was informed of the parking charge of $20 per night and that is it. One would think that when you prepay for a hotel they would add the Washington tax, fees and amenity fee in when you book. Not make it an extra charge.

Loved that it had a pineapple theme. Located in the U district, usually hard to find parking but for an additional fee there was parking. The filtered water option (in the lobby), filtered bottled water (no charge in the room), pineapple shaped cookies and the robes were a great touch! Would highly recommend it!!

all good except I went to the Pineapple hotel a block up from my hotel and didn't realize it was the one with the work out center and not the hotel I was staying in down the street which advertised a pool but the pool was outdoor and closed - otherwise great
