Place is in a great area if you want to explore Seattle. Rooms are small but fun! I don’t rate hotels very much and I do travel often. I just think they need to be clear about the parking and lack of it. No underground parking at the hotel. They offer parking three blocks away not convenient for families and older people, but I would stay at this hotel again, but not bring my car.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. Upon arrival we went to our room and then went to go to the space needle and dinner, so a couple hours, when we returned our room door was open. I blamed myself, and determined maybe I didn’t close it all the way. Every time we left the room after this we made sure to close the door. The next day we went to dinner and a walk, so again a couple hours. When we returned, again, the room door was open. I went down to the desk to complain and was totally dismissed, saying it’s an old building. This left me frustrated. Having a room right next to the elevator how many people walked past my open hotel room? This left me feeling violated and unsafe. All of my belongings could have been taken or looked through. And for the staff to dismiss me in that way was unacceptable. I could have stayed at a motel and the doors would shut and lock. It shouldn’t fall on me for booking at an old hotel to have the risk of my belongings being taken. Upon check out I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not there so I left a message and have not heard back.

The area around the hotel was overrun with homelessness, which made the experience uncomfortable. The restaurant was poorly managed—staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in providing decent service. The hotel room was extremely small, and the bunk bed was so unstable that I had to sleep on the couch. Overall, I was not impressed and wouldn’t stay here again.

Bare minimum.

Ended up with a room facing the street, which is cool but every morning at 3 AM you can hear garbage trucks. The room is the bare minimum. Receptionists weren't friendly or knowledgeable. If you need a safe and clean place to sleep, this is it.
