The hotel is a bit dated, and the general cleanliness of the entrance area is suboptimal. The elevator service is also spotty and the gym is very basic. The staff was excellent and friendly and the location is great!

Good spot for first time visitors to Seattle. All the big downtown spots are walking distance Uber is outrageous in this city I suggest taking the train from the airport. Only pizza for late night options is the only down fall

It is a quaint place that is within distance of Pike Place and it is in the same block that has a monorail that takes you directly to the Space Needle.

We were on the 9th floor and even though I had ear plugs in I was woken by the sound of the wind. I thought it was sirens it was so loud. The bathroom mirror was old and looked dirty because it was so worn. It was priced right and maybe would stay again on a lower floor if in the Fall

The Mayflower is a beautifully remodeled vintage hotel. The lobby with its big chandelier greets you as you enter into a luxurious lobby with comfy chairs and friendly staff. The room was so special -- 2 queen beds in a bedroom that was separated by a partial wall that made the rest of the room into a sitting room with couch and easy-chairs. The only minor complaint I have is that when I sat in one of the easy-chairs, I noticed that there were 3 huge what appeared to be corn nuts lying underneath one of the end tables. So, apparently, the maid had not vacuumed there. There were also smudged fingerprints on the glass top of the little coffee table. My sister in law, who came with me on the trip, told the staff at the front desk about the questionable cleanliness of our room. We then went to dinner and were out for some time. I expected that when we had returned, the corn nuts and smudges would have been taken care of. No luck there. Nothing was done while we were out. The rest of the room and bath was very clean and beautiful. It was a shame, though, that our request for additional cleanup was either ignored or forgotten. Other than this issue, we really enjoyed our stay at the Mayflower and would return.

We had a lovely experience here and the vibes were amazing! The front desk attendant named Tim was very nice and helpful when we asked about popular attractions. The location is a 5 minute walk to pike place and far enough from the somewhat unsafe things the city has around. So it felt safe. The hotel is also said to be haunted. We unfortunately met none of the ghosts who live there. We even accidentally ended up in the “haunted floor.” The only somewhat scary experience was trying to balance the showers water temperature as the knob was very sensitive. Turning it slightly would result in either a firey hell or a time warp into the ice age. Makes sense as it is an old building. Overall we loved it and would come back.

Loved this hotel. Loved the decor and historical beauty. Comfortable, elegant rooms. Great location, walkable to shopping, close to the monorail and easy transportation to Seattle center. Being older my husband and I enjoy convenience and room service was excellent and the food delicious.

It’s a great property but the neighborhood is extremely noisy. Hard to sleep with the constant street noise, trucks, emergency vehicles and just plain weirdos who are out on the sidewalks yelling at cars.
