This hotel is old and run down. They say they are one of the last independent hotels in Seattle - if that’s the case, bring on the chain hotels. I was really disappointed. I was changed rooms after my first night because of multiple issues. There were multiple long black hairs on the bathroom floor. A light bubble and socket was hanging from a light, leading me to cut my finger when I tried turning it on (and not one staff seemed to care about that. Didn’t even ask me which lamp or if I needed anything). The shower faucet was broken and impossible to work. The gym’s scale was broken, and there was no water in the water cooler. The second room I was moved to was a bit better, but equally dated and old looking. The restaurant on-site was closed one morning because of mechanical issues in the kitchen, the elevators are extremely slow. With all the hotels in the area, I would recommend choosing another one. The price was not great enough to justify these issues, stay away. The only positive I have to offer is that the hotel is very central downtown and makes it easy to see the main sights within walking distance.

This was my 2nd stay at The Mayflower. I love the location, walking distance to several places, including Pike Place. The hotel itself maintains an old school charm. Doesn't look like lots of modern decor upgrades, but well maintained (almost) original decor. Love it!

Location, Location, Location. This hotel is around the corner from the Link light-rail train's Westlake station to SEATAC airport and also monorail station to the needle tower. Surrounded by department stores and shops and only 4 blocks to Pike Place Market. (beware of steep incline on the return trip) Staff was very kind and helpful, very comfortable and quiet room. Hotel is of age, but well maintained and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely return.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is quiet and very clean. The room had a musky smell. The chair and carpet should be replaced and bathroom remodeled.

We had a very spacious room on the 9th floor overlooking downtown. It was comfortably furnished,very spacious and everything was in excellent condition. Our deluxe room lived up to it's name.

This hotel is in a great location. It is an older hotel that doesn't have all the rooms updated. The room was small but very comfortable. The mattress and pillows were great. It is a city hotel so the room and bathroom are small. We were on the 8th floor and it was very quiet.

Great stay- was here 3 nights for business. Staff are excellent, bar great, restaurant on site us fab. Rooms are good too. Its obviously a historic building and it doesnt quite have enough power outlets in the rooms around the bed but everything else is perfect. Would definitely use again
