The elevator was not working. They had us on the 5th floor. My 64 yo husband with heart issues had to lug his stuff up the stairs. They “accommodated” us and got us on the 3rd floor. The hallways/staircases smelled like urine. The counter guy was rude initially. The lobby was all apart because of construction. What a mess

Arrived to find a remodel in progress. NO elevators working. No notice of the mess and need to carry bags upstairs. NO breakfast. Had to wait over an hour for shuttle from airport. Never again.

Stayed the night and wanted a hotel near the airport, because my family and I had a super early flight. The elevator was down and we had to carry our luggage up 5 floors of stairs. Despite the carpet could use some replacement, the room was comforting and the front desk was very kind. Would stay again.

The hotel is under construction. The lobby and breakfast room are completely torn up. They have a makeshift check-in counter next to the door as you walk-in. I entered to the sound of saws which were painful to my ears. I feel sorry for the employees. The elevators are out-of-service and for some reason the airport shuttle wasn’t running. I’m not sure why the shuttle wasn’t running but it may have just been temporary. For the included breakfast, they gave us bagged breakfast since the breakfast area was closed. Had I known all of this, I would not have stayed there. Fortunately it was just one night. The room itself was decent. It looked like they had remodeled that area already.

The hotel is under renovation and does not have lift service. If you have large luggage, you might want to reconsider. The worst part is that I was denied a receipt for my bill. The staff claimed that because I booked through Hotels.com, it was the hotel policy not to print a receipt. She said I pay Hotels.com directly which that was not the case. I specifically chose to pay at the Hotel instead of prepaying. I showed her that the hotel had charged me for the stay but she refused to acknowledge it.

First floor was being remodeled. The common areas were filthy. The elevator was out of service. I literally considered walking away and eating the cost of the room. The hotel should be closed for business to accomplish the first floor remodel rather than expose La Quinta customers to these issues.

Front desk staff were amazing. Rooms were ok and clean. But the lobby was a mess due to renovations. And the website says they offer a full breakfast but their kitchen is closed for renovations. Also the elevators were closed.

I knew ahead of time that the elevators were not working and I appreciated that. They were able to get me a room on the second floor and an employee helped take my luggage upstairs which I was very appreciative of. The lighting in the halls and stairways is too dim and made it feel less safe.

Horrible hotel
Upon arriving, they tried to put me in a 2 double bed room. I booked a king and was given a handicapped room. There was a mold smell in the room and we asked to switch rooms. I was told I was STUCK with that room for all 3 days. Out arrival time was after 1am and we were exhausted so I went to the desk early the next day. We finally got another room but it also had mold in the bathroom, the bathroom faucet was loose and wobbled when used. Bugs in the bathroom and extremely dirty. I wiped a washcloth on the bathroom floor and it was black! Disgusting and WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!

Hotels.com screwed me again
Holes in the sheets, broken TV, soiled carpet, the front desk looked like it was a garage sale setting, it was close to 90 degrees in the lobby, the elevator was broken, we had to go up 6 flights of stairs with our luggage. They did offer to give us a full refund when we first arrived. But it was 11pm and where was I supposed to go?

underer construction. no elevator expected guest to go up 5 floors with their luggage, no towels or soap. breakfast floor and area was so dirty it made you want to throw up. 7 couples in area all said same. when checked in was told we could go elsewher...at 8.00 pm afyer takeing a cab to hotel that we booked the try to find another hotel..at that time...we were stuck. .YOU SHOULD HAVE WARNED people it was under total construction. staff uncarinmg pinkl hair and not professional at all. sstaff at breakfast same really your comment was well you stayed when we called to leyt you know....REALLY nexdt time you stay at 8 pm at nite andf it is that bad see if you who flew in can know where to go and pay taxie and hotel aftyer having booked ahead of time and paying in advance...... did not aks for refund BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. and we had 3 couples all say the same thing on the phone to your company at the same call.
