Classy yet reasonable
This Hotel was just polished enough to be classy yet reasonable. Its location is ideal for access to downtown (Pike Place Market, waterfront, music venues) yet just enough removed from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are small - even our King (one would not have space to leave an open big suitcase on the floor); but for a weekend it is fine. The bed was very comfortable. Room has small fridge and coffee maker. The parking garage next door (Meridien) is ideal unless you wan to pay for Valet service. We grabbed coffee and pastry at the cafe in lobby using the voucher which only covered a portion but it was good. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Overall I had a great stay with my family and we really enjoyed the hotel and the location. Everything is walking distance and area seems safe. However I felt the front desk staff were not overly friendly and just gave the basic level of customer service. Also our room was really spacious, but the bathrooms are extremely small and there is zero counter space.

One elevator was broken. The other elevator can only fit maybe 8 people at most. They have 20 floors of hotel rooms, one elevator to accommodate for all patrons - including cleaning staff and culinary staff! This made it horrible to try to come down from your room. They have extra fees for some many things. This is just horrible. This is a downtown location but it's just ludicrous of a hotel.

Really nice for a first time traveling alone! The staff was great, printed my boarding pass, and had the microwave ready for me on the required day. The room was clean, and I would recommend the hotel—I had a wonderful stay! The only thing the hotel could improve is the gym, as it was basic (dumbbells, treadmill/bike) but lacked a squat rack or pulley system. However, that was okay! :)

Hotel Theodore and the staff were wonderful! They were warm, welcoming and the lobby smelled like a lovely cabin in the woods while being right in downtown Seattle. The cafe was awesome. The only complaint we have are the double beds… they’re really too small. :) Queen beds were not available. Cheers!
