Needs an update but found our area hotel!

I've stayed in a bunch of places in the area, old and new and even though this isn't a new hotel and furniture is outdated, the overall experience was pretty darn good. Used the airport courtesy shuttle for free, both ways. Was greeted and got warm cookies at check in. The staff had great communication with us prior to our stay about our concern for a really late check-in. The room was spacious and surprisingly very quiet. The amenities are basic but all in one. Heated pool, hot tub, sauna, workout room, interior atrium that had a hotel bar, restaurant, morning breakfast had enough basics: waffle maker, cereals, fruit bar, eggs, bacon, sausage, packaged yogurts, breads, pastries and great service everywhere. The rooms had possible connecting rooms with refrigerator and coffee maker. Hairdryer, iron and you can open the windows. Very convenient area near Westfield center and plenty of restaurants and freeway access. Stayed 3 nights and didn't need to rent a car because it's close to family in the Renton area. Really great price for the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised. I would stay again.

First you have to pay for parking and no one mentioned that when checking in, only asked us to fill out our vehicle information and gave us a parking ticket for our dash. The parking lot is sketchy, not big enough for the # of guests and unsafe with randoms hanging around. The garbage cans were literally over flowing and garbage was all over the ground of the entrance. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Mechanical sounds outside my window. One of staff on front desk did not pursue my other cancelled reservation, although it still showed as active. (Handled later via several phone calls. She did not seem to be in the moment, was clearly distracted by something else. Did not explain floor numbering, 302 vs. 1302. Could have been friendly. Food and service was great, including fast room service. Kind of felt like I needed a main floor map, can't see elevators from front desk, bar blocks full floor view.

Great place to stay.

My stay was great however I was disappointed in not having the breakfast vouchers as always when we’ve stayed there. No one tried to resolve just tolls me were had to pay as a loyal customer’s.

This hotel is very dirty. There was hair in the shower and on the floor. Staff was very rude. Paula is one staff member in particular and the manager , a woman, was very rude.

We had a great visit, arrived very tired, and had multiple restaurants nearby to enjoy dinner. Back at the hotel we had a nice cocktail at the bar, then a very restful night sleep. In the morning we picked up our coffee in the lobby and had a good workout at the gym.

The rooms are clean and larger than expected. I love the complementary water so I could but in the fridge. The only down side is the spring bed, I have a bad back and it was hard to sleep.

Beware of parking fee!

I was charged $20 for parking during my stay. I was not informed at check-in. I discovered tge charge o my credit card. And, there was no shampoo in the "refillable" container on the shower.
