Such a pleasant hotel to deal with & stay at

It was perfect. I really had only reserved hotel room as I arrived from a cruise early morning & had a late night flight home so needed somewhere to chill out for the day. They most graciously had been able to honor my request for an early check-in and included that days free breakfast offer. They were so accommodating & friendly.

My family (2 kids) and I booked here 4/10 and again 4/14 to bookend a trip out of state. On 4/10 the fire alarm went off 3 times over the course of an hour starting around 1am. We received no communication about it when we called the front desk, except to say it was a false alarm. Needless to say you book a hotel to sleep and we did not. We had already booked the second stay on 4/14 so we returned. When I spoke to the manager about the false alarms, she was quite defensive saying someone was vaping in their room and there was nothing the hotel could do. No offer for a future discount if I wanted to stay again, nothing. She was rude and defensive. She also said since I booked through Expedia she couldn't help me. When I pointed out that she did have options she got incredibly condescending. Will definitely not stay here again. It's not about her, it's about customer service. Also their VIP is a voucher for one free nacho dish or creamed potatoes at the restaurant next door. Um, gross. Its clearly a well positioned hotel near the airport. But for your money, you'll get much better, newer, accomodations at other nearby locations, and managerial staff that actually care.

Overall it was fine and satisfied our needs but I wouldn't rush to stay there again. There weren't any problems but it was just okay. My 2 yr old niece loved being able to see the airplanes come and go from the airport gate that was only about 400 feet from our hotel room windows. Wasn't as loud as I expected it would be, but I wouldn't really say it was quiet either. Not bad for the price though. I might explore other hotels a little further away from the airport in the future.
