Unique resort situated on a small island. Was a Marriott brand and is now its own brand. Have stayed in the two and three bedroom homes. Homes are starting to see its age. Had issues with the hot water the entire time and maintenance didn’t understand what a hot water shower was. Had to let water run for 10 minutes to get luke warm water. Door to our bedroom was rusted, outside stairs and paint needed work. Bathroom shower door didn’t open all the way, air vents were very dirty with dust on the walls that surrounds the air returns. Restaurants were great. Staff lagged a little with attentiveness but got better by the end of the trip. Many people come to the resort to stay for the day. Hot tub isn’t hot at all but is always taken by the day guests. It would be nice if the homes had their own hot tubs instead of the cold pools.
