the hotel is beautiful and walking distances to some shops, a great coffee shop. The windows need cleaning and the rooms are a clean but a bit worn. I would definitely stay here again.

Incredibly friendly front desk staff. We stayed with our small dog and they were so welcoming toward him. The hotel is gorgeous, and of course great for The Office fans ;). The location is good, lots of food options and shopping nearby. Relatively walkable. Good value and clean safe hotel.

We had a family memorial in town- the hotel was well located and very interesting historically. The building WAs beautifully restored in the main hall and offered several good dining options in the lobby- a beautiful setting. The rooms were somewhat dark but clean. Beds were comfortable. The AC system has loud.

I was expecting a much better experience for that price. The check in was long, the room (607) was tiny, claustrophobic, no fresh air, hair in the shower and on the towels. The air conditioner was so loud we couldn't sleep and eventually checked out at 6am.

Historical building that was remodeled to modern standards, however maintains the ambiance of its former purpose. Located right in the city center of Scranton with the convenience of walkable stores, barber shops and a shopping mall. I have stayed here many times and have yet to have a negative experience.

Property is unique and nicely decorated. The floor squeaks terribly-I am sure it was disturbing to anyone below me. Parking was easy/convenient. Handicap ramp was only way to get heavy luggage inside other than dragging luggage up front stairs but sign said for handicap use only. Parking had a fee that was never mentioned, even upon check in. Overall, very nice place with convenient location for where we were going.
