It was a very nice place to stay. Staff was friendly and its right near the river and not to far from the hustle and bustle. Only thing i wish was better for the price you pay is the pillows they were way way to soft. I would still visit again just would bring my own pillows

We chose Thompson Savannah because of the extraordinary experience with Thompson Nashville. We were impressed yet again! Room was perfect, cocktails in lobby and rooftop bars EXCELLENT. It was so quiet in our rooms, we never heard anyone else. Food was top notch and we walked everywhere. 10/10

Less than expected

For the cost paid, this hotel was nice but would not be my choice in the future. I have to say up front, the people who worked at this hotel were amazing. We were greeted with such kindness and they went out of their way to assist us in any way. However, the overall appearance of the hotel was nice but nothing extraordinary. The only exception to this was the rooftop bar. It was beautiful, the food was very good and the service, once again, was exceptional. Our room was very much what you would see in a 3 star hotel. The lighting was horrible. We couldn’t turn the lights on from our bed, rather you had to turn them on from the front door area. It was very confusing and aggravating. As well, the bathroom had a stand up mirror on the sink rather than one attached to the wall. I had to move the mirror to a small table near the bed and open the curtains to obtain any lighting that I needed. Again, not acceptable for a hotel of high caliber and price! The shower was large and very nice. The storage space was well planned and we had plenty of room to put our things. The robes were offered for sale but I would never pay that money for such cheap quality I'm sorry to share.
