I was not informed before taking my vehicle that it would cost$43. Usually a valet gets a tip with no charge. That was horrible. The breakfast food was good. The way it's given to us instead of picking it out myself, i didn't like.

Anniversary trip

We enjoy staying at places with history and character. Marshall House was definitely a place that had both. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. The only negative thing I would say would be that the room had serveral areas where the paint was either peeling or the plaster was chipped. The antique tub was also in need of repair. Otherwise, the room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying at Marshall House in the future.
