Centrally located. Pleasant/helpful staff. But the shower was ackward, we had an evacuation at 12:30 in the morning that was supposedly "nothing" but we got no explanation or assurance that nothing was wrong and after hurrying down 5 flights of stairs in the middle of the night, and back, no one could sleep. Trash can in the bathrrom was rusted.

The DeSoto is just what its description says it is. The hotel was beautiful, with modernized decor, and there was even a pianist playing in the main lobby area upon arrival. The balcony rooms offer a great view of the area behind the hotel, including the pool and lounging area. There are a few unique shops within walking distance of the hotel. The dining options were satisfying, and the staff members in each area were welcoming. I'm already planning to return to this hotel for a longer stay!

It was overpriced for the condition of it.
The toilet made loud screaming sounds off and on every ten to twenty minutes. Everything was cracked and in poor condition in the bathroom.

The place was nice and in a good part of town. The bar also had an excellent Bloody Mary. But there was some disorganization with the staff and confusion about the room that lowered my rating. Plus the night valet couldn’t drive my car so I had to pay full price to park it myself.

I loved my stay. Best location and the hotel was great. The only issue (which is small) I called before I booked and wanted a hotel with a heated pool. They said they had a heated pool but when I arrived the pool was freezing and they said they do not have a heated pool.
