I’ve stayed at The Planter’s Inn about 5-6 times over the last 4-5 years. I go to Savannah several times a year. Great lil hotel. Staff super friendly. Only negative is the four poster beds and mattresses were super squeaky getting in and out of bed! Kinda annoying!

Location of this hotel is perfect. Close to riverwalk and great restaurants! Rooms are clean although dated but the staff, service, and weekly afternoon wine and cheese reception was lovely!

Very noisy. Could hear cars and people screaming in the streets all night with windows closed. Across the street is a parking garage and the sound tunnels through it and amplifies it. Clean and friendly staff but was woken all night both nights of my stay. Also lots of homeless people in park at entrance of hotel.

This is a great property as far as convenience and walk ability. It was very nice that they offered a wine and cheese reception every evening. The staff were helpful and kind. The rooms themselves were looking a little worn and definitely ready for a revamping. I do feel that they were clean and well stocked with toiletries and towels. It was a bit noisy because of construction nearby.

Amazing. Stay here! Lovely wine and cheese reception from 4:30-6. Next door to a must-go restaurant. Sits right on a square and minutes from a ton of shops and other restaurants, plus the river walk. Will definitely stay there again next time.

I have never visited Savannah before. I chose this hotel and was happy that I did. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Happy hour in the lobby was a nice perk & opportunity to visit with the other guests. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, quiet, friendly staff. They arranged our trolley tour and you get $3.00 off for each ticket. Pay for parking by the night but only a few steps away. We did the valet parking for an extra $15 a night and your on the bottom floor. We had windows shades and left an electric bike inside. All was good! Highly recommend.

We've stayed here before, we felt it was a little more run down then last time, in 2019. It was clean, however we found a broken fingernail left on the floor carpet, the paint was chipping from the ceiling in the bathroom, the heat and ac went super hot to super cold. One of the elevators was not working. The water did not taste great, either. Overall it was what we needed in the location, however, we may likely stay somewhere else next time. We love the historic feel to it, but wish it had just a few more amenities.

The hotel is situated across the street from a nice park and also next to the Pink House restaurant. Most of the staff manning the Reception desk were great. There was a wine and cheese reception every day. The rooms were nice with the exception of the bathroom. The bathroom including the toilet bowl was filthy! Filthy like it wasn’t cleaned in weeks!
