We have been to alot of different hotels in Savannah. We try to go for comfort and not at a great expense. This hotel was perfect. We stayed the weekend after the big winter storm, so was still cold out. They had the fireplace going with nice cozy seating area around it. We used the valet service, which didn't disappoint. Service was spot on and very friendly. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. The only negatives were the water pressure not the best (i have thick hair...it matters) and while the continental breakfast had a nice variety, we've had better. Overall though, would highly recommend! Great location as well. Lovely.

We came for a quick one night trip to see snow! All of Savannah was shut down. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the fire and bar in the lobby. There was one lady working the entire breakfast alone. She was the kindest person. Her food was pretty darn good too!

check in clerk did not give rooms near each other when reservation was for 2 rooms. Had to get one room moved. hot water in lobby was empty at 7PM so could not make hot chocolate

The staff was cheerful and efficient. Well-located in the historic center of Savannah, it was an easy walk to a wide array of restaurants and sights. One of the reasons I chose the Hampton Inn Savannah-Historic District was their secure valet parking. I chose this after much research, because I didn’t have much faith in the security of the parking accommodations other hotels and BnB’s had to offer. SInce my trunk was filled with personal possessions, $35/night was worth it for the convenience and peace of mind. I was only here for one evening and night, but wish I could have stayed another day or two, so I could explore the town.

The experience exceeded our expectations and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Centrally located, just a block from the main streets of the historic district and across the street from the canal restaurants. Breakfast was heftier than I expected with waffles, sausage, eggs plus the common bread products. Our dog was treated like a queen in Savanna and hotel even provided a dog tour map with dog friendly restaurants and water spots. Park across the street for half the price as valet.
