The room itself was clean. The hallways, not so much. There were 6-7 customers in the restaurant, but the server seemed to spend more time talking to friends than attending to customers. Three people walked out as they didn’t even get a menu after waiting way too long for service. Our food was only so so, not what one would expect for the price.

The property was centrally located in Old Town Savanna so it was easy to visit all the attractions. The motel was beautiful and clean.

My husband and I were so excited for our first child-free getaway. We were very disappointed with Cambria’s customer service. The pillows are like tiny Little Rocks. When we asked if we could have two more they said, “No, we do not have any.” Housekeeping was by request only We had the room for 3 days. I called the second day and asked for our sheets and towels to be replenished. Housekeeping never came. I called later in the day and they dropped off new pillowcases and towels. The shower door is a glass rolling door that does not close. We had to stick a washcloth in the roller to keep the door closed. Lastly, parking. The hotel charges $40 per day. There is the Jefferson lot directly across the street that charges a flat rate of $25. Park there!! Since Savannah is such a walkable town, you won’t even need to move your car. Overall, the Cambria was the only downside to our amazing trip in Savannah.

Rooms are newer and spacious. They have odd square pillows that aren’t comfy. We bought pillows at Target. The shower has a different setting that is only adjustable manually when the shower is running. I was too short to reach it so my showers consisted of trickling water for 3 days. The river is a mile away and downtown is a short drive as well. Morning coffee is offered downstairs. But there are 2 wonderful coffee places within true walking distance from the hotel.

Disappointed

Location was not great, block away was a homeless hangout. The area around the hotel was very loud. The bed faced the window and even with blinds the light was shinning in. The valet was very nice though. Would not stay here in the future.

Nice stay

Right in the middle of the historic Savannah downtown- it was easy to get anywhere from the hotel. Beds were comfy, the room was spacious. Room was clean, it could have been a little cleaner. Front desk and all employees were very nice and helpful. Ebony the bartender was great! Overall it was a good place to stay for a reasonable price.
